William G. Mays

William G. Mays, 75, of Washington, passed away on December 28, 2022. Mr. Mays, son of the late Frank Mays and Pauline Brookhart, was born on April 8, 1947 in Washington. He received his education from Washington High School and attained a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

He was preceded in death  by his parents and brother, Frank Mays II.

Among his survivors are his son, Daniel Mays of Austin, Texas; two siblings, Polly Stahlhuth and husband Roger of Webster Groves and Laurell Ostermeier and husband Thomas of Webster Groves; sister-in-law, Helen Mays of Arizona; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 9-11 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Memorial service will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at St. Peter’s U.C.C. in Washington. Memorial donations can be made to the Shriner Hospital for Children.
