Wayne E. Hotz

Wayne E. Hotz D.D.S., 77 , of Washington, passed away on May 12, 2021. Wayne, son of the late John Hotz and his wife Margie nee Eickholt, was born on January 8, 1944 in Lima, Ohio. He graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and the St. Louis University School of Dentistry.  On March 29, 1969, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Neier in Washington. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Don and John Hotz, his mother and father-in-law, LaVerne and Clarence Neier, and by brother-in-law, Larry Neier.

Among his survivors are his wife, Bonnie Hotz of Washington; four children, Zach Hotz and wife Renee of Dallas, TX, Josh Hotz of St. Louis, Ben Hotz and wife Maggie of Washington, and Sarah Hotz of Longmont, CO; nine grandchildren, Tate and Drew Hotz, Audrey, Benny, and Emilee Hotz, Rhys and Vale Vainio, and Harriet and Marjorie Hotz; In-laws, Sheri Neier of St. Louis, Lonnie Neier of Washington, Jeanne Damschroeder of New Haven, Nancy Milford and husband Michael of Arlington, TX, Doug Neier and wife Tracy of St. Louis, and Steve Neier of Indianapolis, IN; other relatives and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held Memorial Day Weekend, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School, St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, or charity of choice.
