Wayne V. Brunner, 76 , of Washington, passed away on February 26, 2023. Mr. Brunner, son of the late Vernon Brunner and Veronica nee Kopp, was born on April 4, 1946 in St. Louis. After receiving his education, Wayne enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country honorably. On May 16, 1970, he was united in marriage to Linda Holdmeier at St. Francis Borgia Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Clarence Willson and nephew, Dean Brunner.
Among his survivors are his wife Linda Brunner of Washington; son, Kevin Brunner and wife Lynetta of Washington; siblings, Jerome Brunner and wife Carol of Washington, Pat Noelke and husband Rich of Washington, and Lori Mueller and husband Charles of Union; two grandchildren, Annika and Andre Brunner; other relatives and friends.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
