Vince Edward Amoroso, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, May 31, 2026. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family.
Vince was born May 14, 1985, to David J. Amoroso, Sr. and Sharon Sutherland. As a child, he loved playing hockey and basketball. His teen years, the telephone was his best friend. He was very proud of his Italian heritage, growing up on "The Hill". A sandwich from Gioia's was his favorite.
Much of his adult life found him working in roles that enabled him to meet and engage with others, the highlight of his workday. Vince found joy in conversations with people from all walks of life. He was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Blues, the NBA, and the NFL.
Vince is survived by his father, David J. (Patty) Amoroso; his son, Elijah Vincent Amoroso; his partner, (his great love) Joanie Graves. He is also survived by his brother, David J. (Noly Mae) Amoroso; his stepsister Tanya (Chuck) Russell; and his nephews; Niccolas John Amoroso, Anthony Michael Amoroso, James Blade Russell, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Ruth Sutherland, and by grandparents John and Marie Amoroso, and Homer and Ramona Pierce.
There is a funeral Mass for Vince at 10:00 am, Thursday 6/4/26 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Ave, St Louis, MO 63110. A luncheon will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
Burial of his cremains at Resurrection Cemetery will be private at a later date.
