Thomas Hrenak Obituary

Thomas J. Hrenak, 67, of Concord Hill, passed away on January 6, 2025. Mr. Hrenak, son of the late John A. Hrenak and Irene nee Poos, was born on January 30, 1957, in St. Louis. He received his education from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Ranken Technical College. On September 4, 1985, he was united in marriage to Donna Anderson in St. Louis County.

His passions and hobbies included mechanics, hunting, bee keeping, wood working, bread making, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Barbara Nelson, sister-in-law Theresa Gunter, and sister-in-law, Sandra Hrenak.

Among his survivors are his wife, Donna Hrenak of Concord Hill; two children, Thomas A. Hrenak of Cedar Hill, and Nicholas Hrenak and wife Michelle (nee Mahler) of Union; siblings, John Hrenak Jr. of Fort Scott, KS, Timothy Hrenak and wife Debbie of Florissant, Michael Hrenak of St. Charles, William Hrenak and wife Laura of St. Charles, and Andrew Hrenak and wife Jackie of St. Charles; father-in-law, William Anderson of Bowling Green, KY; sister-in-law Debra Young of Dallas, TX; loved ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant.
