Theresa Krimmel Obituary

Theresa F. Krimmel, 78, of Washington, passed away on January 22, 2026. Mrs. Krimmel, daughter of the late Raymond Maple and Ernestine nee Fenner, was born on September 20, 1947, in Clinton, IL. She received her high school education in Yamoto Tokyo, Japan. On May 19, 1967, she was united in marriage to Vernon Krimmel at the St. Francis Borgia Church.

Theresa was an avid reader and also loved British mysteries.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vernon Krimmel.

Among her survivors are her children, Diedre “Dee” Krimmel of Washington, Shawn Krimmel and wife Sandy of Hermann, and Danielle Welch and husband Mark of Washington; two siblings, Rick Maple and wife Janice of Union and Curtis Mcclish and wife Michaela of Alexandria, VA; five grandchildren, Kassandra Starr and husband Michael of New Haven, MO, Tyler Krimmel of Rosebud, MO, Samantha Woosley and husband Kyle of Perry, MO, Dalton Krimmel and wife Lauren of Willard, MO, and Kara Krimmel of Hermann, MO; one great-grandson, Jameson Woosley; in-laws, Donald “Duck” Krimmel and wife Marilyn of Washington and Karen Krimmel of Union; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorial donations can be made to St. Louis Counseling-Youth Mental Health, #5 Premier Dr., Suite 200, Fenton, MO 63026.
