Terry L. Firsick,69, of Union, passed away on April 18, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Terry, son of the late George Firsick and Elizabeth Nee McDonald, was born on January 20, 1957, in Washington, Missouri. He received his education from Washington High School. On September 2, 1983, he was united in marriage to Brenda Limbert at the Holy Family Parish in Port Hudson. Terry’s greatest loves were his wife Brenda and only child Jason. Jason’s wife Ashleigh completed their family unit this year.
He was a talented craftsman and built a successful business. Terry was detail-oriented and particular. He demonstrated this through his love of nature and a flourishing garden that boasted a 15 year old blueberry plant that is still going strong. He loved fishing and hunting in beautiful Mt. Sterling, a special place he shared with his son and brothers.
Terry’s gregarious personality brought him many dear friends that truly loved him. He was always there for his family and friends. When you needed him, Terry was there with a grin and a story. He always showed up.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Tom Limbert.
Among his survivors are his wife, Brenda Firsick of Union; son, Jason Firsick and wife Ashleigh of Washington; two brothers, Brian Firsick and wife Tami of Fenton and Scott Firsick and wife Patricia of Mt. Sterling; mother-in-law, Sharon Limbert of Washington; sister-in-laws, Ruth Ann Oliver of Union, Janet Glazebrook and husband Bob of Eureka, and Karen Kriete and husband Tom of Washington; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
