Stephanie A. Ronsick, 84, of Foristell, passed away on February 3, 2026. Mrs. Ronsick, daughter of the late Jean Detchemendy and Eileen nee Fletcher was born on July 7, 1941, in St. Louis. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School.
Stephanie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. She especially loved her roles as doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Generosity came easily to Stephanie who was always giving of her time and talent to others. Stephanie’s hard work ethic was on display as a teacher at St. Gertrude’s in Krakow early in her career and at Hazel, Inc., where she was the stockroom supervisor. She was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals’ fan and an enthusiastic supporter of St. Francis Borgia High School athletics. Stephanie’s cheers could be heard in the bleachers during her children’s school years and for many years after. Stephanie was an avid reader, fantastic cook, faithful friend and will forever be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clint Ronsick and son-in-law, Patrick O’Berry.
Among her survivors are three children, Chris Ronsick and wife Gwyn of Durham, NC, Courtney O’Berry of Crystal Lake, IL, and Carrie Reiter and husband Scott of Foristell: sister, Sheila Yates of St. Charles; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, loved ones and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the St. Francis Borgia Church. Interment will be private.
Memorial donations can be made to the St. Francis Borgia High School Athletic Association.
