Stanley K. Kriete

Stanley K. Kriete,75, of Portland, MO, passed away on January 17, 2026. Stan, son of the late Henry (Fritz) Kriete and Clara (Sophie) nee Suttner, was born on April 17, 1950 in Washington. He received his education from Washington High School.

Stan was employed and retired from Ameren.   He loved to farm, fish, hunt, and spend time with his family on his farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Alice Kriete.

Among his survivors are his son, Mario Kriete and wife Elizabeth of Washington; sister, Victoria Kriete of Washington; two grandchildren, Chase and Blaze Kriete; significant other, Rebecca Chitwood of Louisiana, MO; loved ones and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
