Shirley Reidelbach Obituary

Shirley A. Reidelbach, 93, of Washington, Missouri, passed away March 10, 2021 at her home in Washington. Shirley, daughter of the late Harold Halleck and his wife Bernice NEE Carson, was born February 20, 1928 in Winamac, Indiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and on December 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to Richard (Dick) Reidelbach in Seattle, Washington. Shirley and Dick resided most of their 58 year marriage in Anderson, Indiana where Shirley was employed as a Medical Technologist at Community Hospital. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and several other philanthropic organizations. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends as well as her beloved dog Georgie. Mrs. Reidelbach was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, and sister Marilyn Cory. Among her survivors are two children, Mary Lovern and husband Royce of Washington, Missouri and James Reidelbach of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by a brother, Thomas Halleck and wife Barbara of Winamac, Indiana, three grandchildren Joshua Koch and wife Lindsay, Joshua Lovern, and Sarah LeGear and husband Thomas, five great-grandchildren Ethan Lovern, Jackson Koch, and Lucy, Sally and Juliet LeGear as well as other family members and friends.

No services will be held at this time. Memorial donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, PO Box 400, Union, MO 63084. Arrangements in care of Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington, Missouri.
