Shirley J. Lauxman, 88, of Washington, passed away on January 6, 2024. Mrs. Lauxman, daughter of the late Hazzard Radeackar and Helen nee Kramme, was born on October 26, 1935 in Catawissa.
Shirley loved the Lord as her Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kevin Kovis, and brother Ronald Radeackar.
Among her survivors are two sons, Keith Kovis of Washington, Jeff Kovis of Eureka: eight grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Sarah, Austin, Kristen, Megan, Kelly, and Kristy; eight great-grandchildren; special friend, Trevor Hill; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on January 19, 2024 from 9-11 a.m. at The Ridge Church, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
