Shirlee M. Smith

Shirlee M. Smith, 76 , of Washington, passed away on August 23, 2022. Shirlee, daughter of the late Leslie Juntti and Mary Juntti, was born on March 25, 1946 in Detroit, MI. On October 20, 1979, she was united in marriage to Bryan Smith in Union. Shirley was employed for over 40 years at Pauwels Transformers.

Shirlee was an avid video poker player and a bingo enthusiast. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and always tried to catch every game. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cleadeth “Bucky” Thompson; siblings, Michael Juntti, Richard Juntti, Robert Juntti, Flora Brown, and one grandchild, Taylor Jackson.

Among her survivors are her husband, Bryan Smith of Washington; children, Dianna Stone and husband Jerry of Villa Ridge and David Smith of Washington; siblings, Barbara Hughes of Villa Ridge, Donna Whitney and husband Mike of Robertsville, Joey Juntti and wife Debbie of Pacific, Allen Juntti of Gray Summit, and Billy Juntti of Gray Summit; grandchildren, Nichole, Amber, Ashley, Nathan, Madeline, Britney, and Dillon; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
