Ryan Z. Steinmann

Ryan Zachary Steinmann, 27 , of Washington, passed away on May 4, 2022. Ryan, son of Kimberly nee Edwards, and Kevin Steinmann, was born on September 24, 1994 in Oakland, CA. He received his education from Union High School.

Ryan loved playing hockey from the time he was 5 years old. He also enjoyed football and wrestling, two sports he played in high school. Ryan also loved the outdoors, going hiking and deer hunting. Ryan above all loved his family and friends. He was very generous and kind. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Steinmann, Melvin John Smith, and Florence Belle Jeffries.

Among his survivors are his mother, Kimberly Steinmann of Washington; father, Kevin Steinmann of Maryland Heights; sister, Sarah M. Steinmann and fiance Justin Carey of Washington; grandparents, Sharon R. Smith of St. Louis, David L. Edwards of Springfield, MO, and Barbara Wagener of Warrenton; uncles and aunts, Justin Edwards and wife Terry of St. Louis, Joseph D. Edwards and wife Andrea, James M. Edwards and wife Tye of Hurst, TX and Great aunt Irma Perry; cousins, Gavin Edwards, Alonna Johnson, Owen Thacker, Tage Thacker, Leilani Pugh and husband Greg, Troy Pugh, Paul Pugh and Matt Zimmerli. Plus, so many more great aunts, uncles and cousins, too many to name on the Edwards family side. 

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
