Ruth C. Jacquin,91, of Washington, passed away on March 20, 2026. Mrs. Jacquin, daughter of the late Leo Glosemeyer and Rose nee Willenbrink, was born on December 3, 1934, in Dutzow. She received her education from St. Vincent’s DePaul in Dutzow and graduated from Washington High School in 1952. On September 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Durverd V. Jacquin at St Vincent’s Church in Dutzow. Ruth was employed as a billing clerk at International Shoe Factory until the birth of her first child.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sister-in-laws, Theodore Glosemeyer and Irvin Glosemeyer in infancy, Edmond Glosemeyer and wife Irene, Gregory Glosemeyer and wife Rose, Virgil Glosemeyer and wife Fran, Leo Glosemeyer and wife Lauretta, Maurice Glosemeyer, and two sisters and three brother-in-laws, Rita Trentmann and husband Lloyd, Theresa Schmitt and husbands Edgar Brautigam and John Schmitt; grandson, Adam Jacquin, and great-grandson, Keegan Wiedemann.
Among her survivors are two sons, Alan Jacquin and wife Meg and Gary Jacquin and wife Ronda; five daughters, Sharon Wiedemann and husband Jim, Donna Bonner and husband Jim, Judy Mueller and husband Tim, Amy Banken and husband Jeff, and Jennifer Marquart and husband Jay; step-daughter, Nancy Hatcher and husband John; sister-in-law, Mildred Glosemeyer; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Washington. Interment will be in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
