Ruth A. Huxel

Ruth A. Huxel, 83 , of Washington, passed away on October 28, 2021. Mrs. Huxel, daughter of the late Edward Hoelscher and his wife Lillian nee Koelling, was born on September 16, 1938 in Washington. On September 22, 1956, she was united in marriage to Emil Huxel at the St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emil Huxel and siblings.

Among her survivors are her children, Tina Schlitt and husband Don Carrell and Jeff Huxel; grandchildren, Jessie, Makenzie, Mikala, Raven, Jackson, Christopher, Jennifer, and Heather; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Jayden, Jenna, Noah, Dalton, Kiyah, Adilyn, and Tobias; siblings, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 10 A.M.-12 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 12 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children-St. Louis.
