Rosalie F. Feldmann, 84, of Washington, passed away on September 20, 2023. Mrs. Feldmann, daughter of the late Ferdinand Hoelscher and Marian nee Kleekamp, was born on September 25, 1938 in Washington. She received her education from St. Gertrude. On August 31, 1957, she was united in marriage to Charles Feldmann at the St. Vincent’s Church in Dutzow.
She was employed by Deb Shoe Factory, Mercy, Home Health and The Red Cross. Rosie loved spending time with family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family was everything and a family function or game was rarely missed. She loved watching Cardinals baseball.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Darlene Ballmann and Norma Kohne, and In-laws, Charlie Ballmann, Bob Kohne, Bob Steffens, Patsey Hildreth, Bob Hildreth, Harvey Backhaus, and Jan Feldmann.
Among her survivors are her husband, Charlie Feldmann of Washington; children, Shari Piontek and husband Darrell of Washington, Barb Meyer and husband Tim of Washington, Randy Feldmann and wife Christy of Washington, Vicky Maune and husband Gerald of Krakow, Tim Feldmann and wife Linda of Krakow, and Gina Holtmeyer and husband Greg of Washington; siblings, David Hoelscher and wife Joann, Kenny Hoelscher and wife Joyce, Mike Hoelscher and wife Linda, Bob Hoelscher and wife Jeanne, Linda Kriete and husband Charlie, Nancy Steffens and friend Jim Schwaller, and Joannie Bleckman and husband Chuck; grandchildren, Jimmy Maniaci, III and wife Molly, Melissa Caruso and husband Mike, Shannon Grey and husband Tim, Aaron Piontek and significant other Abby Wurdack, Kristi Fitzpatrick and husband Deric, Sandi Adkins and husband Avery, Mindi Meyer and significant other Brandon McRoberts, Tim Meyer, Elin Schmidt and husband John, Randy Feldmann Jr., Eric Feldmann, Joey Maune and wife Megan, Tommy Maune and wife Nicole, Marty Maune and significant other Emily Moreno, Rebecca Ferree and husband Shane, Amanda Lause and husband Adam, Danny Feldmann, Hannah Holtmeyer, Spencer Holtmeyer and significant other Madison Clifton; twenty two great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 2-5 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment will be in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School.
