Richard A. Neely

Richard A. Neely, 71 , of Washington, passed away on July 24, 2022 in Washington. Mr. Neely, son of the late Francis Neely and Nona nee Elliott, was born on January 13, 1951 in Potosi. He received his education from Washington High School. Mr. Neely served his country honorably as a member of the United States Navy.

Richard enjoyed going camping and being outdoors. He also loved going to pick out hats for his large hat collection that he had. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Neely.

Among his survivors are his siblings, Paul Neely and wife Michelle of Desoto, Carol Breakfield and husband James of Potosi, Dale Neely and wife Chris of Villa Ridge, Dona Sansoucie of Washington, and Trudy Roach and husband Mark Mizzell of Union; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
