Rhonda A. Naumann, 60, of Hermann, passed away on December 10, 2024. Mrs. Naumann, daughter of the late Ralph Wolking and Ruth nee Berg, was born on January 13, 1964, in Washington. She received her education from Washington High School and the Washington School of Practical Nursing.
On March 10, 1984, she was united in marriage to Steve Naumann Sr. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Washington.
Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters who she adored. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, reading, her dogs and sitting on the front porch taking in nature. After working as a nurse's aide for many years, she was incredibly proud of herself when she graduated from LPN school in 2004.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Wolking; two stepfathers, Albert Kleinheider and Andy Engemann Sr; grandmother, Sadie Berg and uncle, Arlie Berg Sr.
Among her survivors are her husband, Steve Naumann Sr. of Hermann; mother, Ruth Engemann of Washington; two children, Kim Schmelz and husband Adam of Washington and Steve Naumann Jr. of Hermann; brother, Randy Wolking and wife Karin of Morrison; step sister, Karen McGrail and husband Pat of Ballwin; three grandchildren, Addison, Audrey, and Avalynn Schmelz; In-laws, Dolores Naumann of Union, George Naumann and wife Suzanne of Union, John Naumann and wife Betsy of St. Clair, and Michael Naumann and wife Tammy of the Philippines; cousin, Debbie Johnson and husband Roger of Humansville, MO and foster brother Wayne Brueggemann of Creve Coeur; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to charity of choice.
