Raymond C. Eickmeyer, 88, of Washington, passed away on February 14, 2025. Mr. Eickmeyer, son of the late Lester Eickmeyer and Mabel nee Buchholz, was born on December 15, 1936, in St. Louis. He received his education from Central High School in St. Louis. Raymond earned his master’s degree from Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, where he also played football and was a member of the Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity.
On December 22, 1962, he was united in marriage to Judith Jordan at the St. John’s ENR Church in St. Louis. Mr. Eickmeyer was employed by the Washington School District for over 30 years as a Guidance Counselor and a football coach.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith Eickmeyer and brother-in-law, David Jordan.
Among his survivors are his children, Ronald Eickmeyer of Jefferson City, MO, Robert Eickmeyer and wife Rebecca of Kirkwood, Amanda Mangialardo of Cincinnati, OH, Russell Eickmeyer of Jefferson City, MO, and Randall Eickmeyer of Affton; six grandchildren, Raymond Eickmeyer, Hannah Eickmeyer, Spencer Mangialardo, Leonardo Mangialardo, Clara Eickmeyer, and Sabrina Mangialardo; in-laws, Rodney Jordan and wife Holly and Janis Jordan; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Washington.
