Ralph A. Riegel, 85, of Washington, passed away on December 13, 2023. Mr. Riegel, son of the late August Riegel and Margaret nee Meyer, was born on December 11, 1938, in Washington.
Ralph served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army. He was employed by Binkley in Warrenton for 41 years as a Machine Operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Victor Riegel, Herman Riegel, Bernice Altholz and husband Roland, and Jim Riegel and wife Donna; brother-in-law, John Voyles, and niece and nephew, Cathy and Harlan Voyles.
Among his survivors are four siblings, Loretta Voyles of Belle, Edward G. Riegel of Washington, Donald J. Riegel of Hermann, and Ronald J. Riegel of New Haven; sister-in-law, Marie Riegel; twenty-five nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Krakow. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Gertrude’s School or Church.
