Ralph B. Buschman, 88, of Washington, passed away on May 13, 2022. Ralph, son of the late Frank Buschmann and Launa nee Briggs, was born on July 24, 1933 in Vienna, MO. He received his education from Vienna High School.
Ralph was employed at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing for over 34 years as a planner. He loved the outdoors and working on his farm. Ralph was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved hunting, fishing and farming especially with his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener and took pride in sharing his vegetables and especially his sweet corn and tomatoes. Dad loved spending time with his family. He loved the family get togethers with his children and grandchildren. Many good fish and turkey fry's were had with close friends and family. Mr. Buschman served his country honorably as a member of the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Betty Buschman nee Oberhaus and Mattie Buschman nee Parker; two daughters, Martha Narup and Sarah Buschman; son-in-law, Larry Strode; one brother Eugene Buschmann and sister-in-law Ann Buschmann; brother-in-laws James Oberhaus and wife Elfrieda, and Bernell Oberhaus and wife Mary.
Among his survivors are three children, Alan Buschman and wife Kim of Washington, Linda Strode of Washington, and Jean Kleekamp and husband Wayne of Washington; brother, Ivan Buschmann and wife Kathleen of Washington; grandchildren, Matthew and wife Corbin, Alex, Jo Ellen, Olivia, Josie, and Luke; one great grandson, Brooks; son-in-law, Donnie Narup of Washington; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Interment, with full military honors will be held at the St. Peter's U.C.C. Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Franklin County Honor Flight.
