Paula D. Morriss

Paula D. Morriss, 66, of Washington, passed away on July 19, 2022. Mrs. Morriss, daughter of the late Paul D. Shipley and Delores nee Piek, was born on July 17, 1956 in Washington. She received her education from Buena Park High School in California.

Paula loved music and it was her life crafting. She also enjoyed fishing, although she was never good at it. Her greatest joy though, was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Paula became friends with everyone she ever met.

Mrs. Morriss was preceded in death by her parents.

Among her survivors are two children, Paul Shipley and fiance Amy Sullivan of Washington and Aleasha Morriss and fiance Mark Sanderson of Villa Ridge; spouse, Myron Morriss; siblings, Lisa Cruz and husband Steven of Buena Park, CA, Myrna Mynes and husband Michael of Washington, and Myra Roberts of Washington; grandchildren, Lilly Sullivan-Cates, Kylie Shipley, Elaina Shipley, Harley Shipley, Kaiya Morriss-Palmer, Hannah Sanderson, and Xavier Sanderson; special friend, Chris Klinkerfuss; aunt, Mary Shipley; uncle, Fritz Shipley; cat, Toodles; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
