Paul M. Wildt, 85, of Washington, passed away on January 25, 2023. Paul, son of the late Herman Wildt and Katherine nee Zwicke, was born on October 19, 1937, in Washington. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School and obtained a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri. Mr. Wildt served his country honorably as a member of the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Sr. Kenneth Wildt, Mildred Skouby, and Kenneth Wildt and three brother-in-laws, Leon Skornia, Robert Hanneken, and George Skouby.
Among his survivors are his siblings, Donald Wildt and wife Barbara of Washington, Doris Skornia of Washington, Helen Hanneken of Villa Ridge, and Carol Straatmann and husband Al of Villa Ridge; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on February 6, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a Memorial Mass beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Church. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Francis Borgia Church or Masses.
