Patricia L. Maupin

Patricia L. Maupin, 85, of Union, passed away on October 21, 2025. Mrs. Maupin, daughter of the late Charless Poppele and Anne nee Hammock, was born on October 9, 1940, in El Paso, TX. She received her education from Ritenour High School in St. Louis. On November 8, 1958, she was united in marriage to Elvin “Spud” Maupin in Overland, MO.

Mrs. Maupin loved to cook, sew, and tend to her garden. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, James Lucas.

Among her survivors are her husband, Elvin “Spud” Maupin of Union; two children, Christine Maupin of Union and Craig Maupin and wife Holly of St. Louis; siblings, Charlotte Lucas of Union and Charles Poppele and wife Norma of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Rylie, Andie, Andrew, Brandi, and Brendan; four great-grandchildren; loved ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 9-11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
