Patricia Hartzell Obituary

Patricia A. Hartzell, 88, of Marthasville, passed away on October 25, 2024. Mrs. Hartzell, daughter of the late Raymond Lewis and Monette nee Ware, was born on July 28, 1936, in St. Louis. She received her education from Ritenour High School. On February 16, 1957, she was united in marriage to Frank Hartzell in St. Louis.

Mrs. Hartzell worked at Hillermann Nursery and Florist for many years and also volunteered a lot of her time at Loving Hearts in Washington. Pat was also a member of Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity (initiated at Gamma Nu at Southeast Missouri State University) and Beta Sigma Phi of Washington MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Hartzell and brother Robert Lewis.

Among her survivors are four children, Mark Hartzell and wife Holly of Marthasville, Craig Hartzell and wife Vickie of Marthasville, Lisa Whitaker of Reeds, MO, and Elizabeth Isenogle and husband John of Marthasville; brother, Steven Lewis and wife Laura of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Heather Dixon and husband James, Patrick Hartzell and wife Tara, Kayla Mosley and husband Sean, Samantha Nichols, Michael Hartzell and wife Selyna, Brooke Abbit and husband Kyle, Blake Hartzell, and Franklin Greenman; sister-in-law, Karen Lewis; loved ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Washington, with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m and a luncheon at the church will start at noon.  Memorial donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
