Norine P. Garcia, 84, of Union, passed away on December 22, 2023. Mrs. Garcia, daughter of the late George Sikora and Adele nee Buckel, was born on June 17, 1939 in St. Louis. On June 21, 1967, she was united in marriage to George Garcia.
On television, Norine liked watching cooking shows /food network etc , and wrestling shows. She enjoyed playing bingo at the nursing home, working on word seek puzzle books, and watching the birds outside her window eating the food that was placed out there.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Garcia; son, Manuel Garcia; daughter, Blythe Garcia, and brother, Ted Sikora.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Allison Hatfield of Union; brother, Mike Sikora and wife Eileen; grandchildren, Orlando Hatfield, Kelsey Garcia, and Chyenne Stephens; sister-in-law, Diana Sikora; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on January 2, 2024 from 9-11 a.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorial donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society or charity of choice.
