Noreen L. Wayne

Noreen L. Wayne, 90, of Washington, passed away on May 26, 2024. Mrs. Wayne, daughter of the late Henry Jolly and Adelia nee Ott, was born on December 30, 1933, in Livingston, IL. She received her education from Livingston High School. On September 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to James R. Wayne in Edwardsville, IL.

Noreen loved to talk and socialize with others. In her younger years, she loved to go bowling and travel to different places. She really enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James R. Wayne and three siblings, Helen Roman, Norma Skertich, and Robert Jolly.

Among her survivors are two children, David Wayne and fiance Lynn Meisemann of Washington and Dawn Wayne of Weldon Springs; grandson, Austin Wayne of Union; loved ones and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
