Naomi H. Fuhler, 84, of Washington, passed away on July 21, 2023. Mrs. Fuhler, daughter of the late John E. Jordan and Hattie nee Louis, was born on April 24, 1939, in Lesterville, MO. She received her education from O’Fallon Tech High School. On October 12, 1957, she was united in marriage to Donald Fuhler at St. Cronin Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Mrs. Fuhler loved to travel, especially going to the beach and mountains. She liked to bake cookies with her grandchildren, work with plants, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, John “Jack” Jordan, Dorene Jordan, Connie Blake, Dorothy Culverhouse, Louise Jordan, and Lafawn Schuchmann and by her son in law James Johnson.
Among her survivors are her husband of nearly 66 years, Donald Fuhler of Washington; daughters Laura Johnson of Summerville, SC and Donna Semonis and husband Robert of Washington; brother, R.V. Jordan and wife Shirley of Arnold, MO; grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Barry and Brandy Johnson, Russell and Casey Johnson, Kelly and Kevin Blackwood, John Paul Milburn, Jeremy and Tanya Milburn, Samuel and Megan Semonis, Jordan and Cassie Semonis, Cindy Semonis, and Annabelle Semonis; fifteen great-grandchildren; a host loved ones and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 9-11 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Cemetery in Washington. Memorial donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society or Franklin County CASA.
