Nancy A. Amelung

Nancy A. Amelung, 75, of Washington, passed away on March 25, 2024. Nancy, daughter of the late Lawrence Amelung and Rita nee Irvine, was born on April 9, 1948, in Washington. She received her education from Incarnate Word Academy and the University of Missouri. Ms. Amelung was a police officer before retiring.

Nancy enjoyed gardening and planting and was a member of various flower and garden clubs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise Charboneau and brother, Ralph Amelung.

Among her survivors are three siblings, Robert Amelung of Maryland Heights, James Amelung of Columbia, MO, and Dennis Amelung and wife Mary of St. Louis County; sister-in-law, Mary Amelung; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Church. Memorial donations can be made to the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
