Matthew R. Hampton

Matthew R. Hampton, 41 , of St. Louis, passed away on March 7, 2022. Matt, son of the late Richard Hampton and Wanda nee Kline, was born on October 4, 1980 in Festus. He received his education from Francis Howell High School. He was employed at Premier Pools & Spas St. Louis.

Matt was preceded in death by his son, Seth, his father, Richard, and uncle, Robert Hampton.

Among his survivors are his mother, Wanda Hampton of St. Peters; children, Shaun Hampton, Sophia Hampton, and Sindel Warren; siblings, Michael Hampton and wife Tina of Washington, Angela Smiley of Gardner, KS, Jacquelyn Gentry and husband Nathan of Kansas City, MO, and Jennifer Wesley of Scottsdale, AZ; aunt, Talisa Hampton of Osage Beach, MO; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 4 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to Infant Loss Resources of St. Louis  https://www.infantlossresources.org/
