Mary Jane Sincox, 84, of Washington, passed away on September 16, 2024. Mrs. Sincox, daughter of the late Joseph Obermark and Berniece nee Stratman, was born September 6, 1940, in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia Grade School. On May 5, 1962, she was united in marriage to Thomas Sincox at the St. Francis Borgia Church.
She enjoyed needle pointing, knitting, cooking, baking and shopping in her younger days. She loved retirement with her husband on 'the farm'. She treasured her time with her grandchildren. She was so happy to have recently met her Great granddaughter and was very much looking forward to meeting her new great granddaughter and great grandson. She was also a savage bingo player at Oak Pointe and had been voted the "S.O.B." -Spunky Old Broad at Oak Pointe as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas H. Sincox; mother and father-in-law, T.W. “Buck” and Ann Sincox; two brothers, Harlan and Joseph Obermark III; sister, Doris Lochirco and husband Steve and brother-in-law, Robert Maxwell.
Among her survivors are two children, Donna Yaworski and husband Mike of St. Clair and Tom Sincox Jr. of Washington; three grandsons, Michael Yaworski and wife Karen of Scott City, MO, Andrew Yaworski and wife Brittany of Tacoma, WA, and Branden Sincox of Denver, CO: great-grandchildren, Mariemma Yaworski, Abby Yaworski, and Tyson Coppage; siblings, Georgene Buchman and husband Rich of Washington, Betty Maxwell and husband Thomas of California, Katherine Landess and husband Rick of California, Wayne Obermark of Washington, Brenda Smith and husband Mike of Washington, Ed Obermark and wife Becky of Washington, and David Obermark and wife Vicki of Virginia; three sister-in-laws, Peggy Obermark, Donna Obermark, and Karen Kluesner; brother-in-law, Charles Sincox and wife Carole; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends, including the residents and Staff at Oak Pointe of Washington.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the St. Francis Borgia Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association, or the Alzheimers Association.
