Mary Ellen Robertson

Mary Ellen Robertson, 83, of Washington, MO was called home to our Lord and Savior on June 24, 2020 in Washington.  Mrs. Robertson, daughter of the late Anthony Fraley and his wife Anna NEE Burndt, was born February 20, 1937 in Murphysboro, IL.  On February 27, 1954, she was united in marriage to William T. Robertson in St. Louis, MO.  Through the years Mary Ellen work as a secretary and switchboard operator at various companies, with the last being Missouri State Correctional Institution.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carleen McGonagle, daughter-in-law Jeanne Robertson, and brother-in-law Ted Smith.

Among her survivors are her husband, William T. Robertson of Washington;

four children; Katherine Ray and husband Raymond of Plainfield, IN;

William J. Robertson of Gerald; Thomas A. Robertson and wife Patty of

Washington; Tina E. Alferman and husband Tracy of Washington; as well as 13 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Dorothy Smith of

Maryland Heights, and many relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 2-5 P.M. at

Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on

Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11 A.M. at “The Ridge Church” in Villa Ridge,

with interment being held at Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Mercy Hospice in Washington.
