Mary Bradshaw Obituary

Mary Kathryn Bradshaw, 66 of Leslie, MO, was greeted in heaven by her son, Jacob, on January 29th, 2026.  Mary, daughter of the late Lawrence and Geraldine Briggs, was born on October 23rd, 1959. She was unified in marriage, to the love of her life, Don Bradshaw on June 11th, 1977.

Mary was a book, fantasy, and fairytale lover.  A gamer, (yes, I said gamer), who made many on-line and cherished friends.  I sincerely hope that there are dragons and fairies in heaven.  She loved fiercely and was fiercely loved.  She was the rock, and the glue that kept this family together. Forever, the therapist, best friend and listener of the entire family and supported everyone whole hearted and unconditionally.  Man, could she hold a grudge!  Our Momma was without a doubt, " Our Person".  She was loyal (sometimes to a fault), honest, stubborn, occasionally mean, immensely empathetic, admired by all, and a complete force to be reckoned with. Trust me when I say that you knew better than to mess with any of her people.  Don was the most important person in her world, aside from her amazing kids, grands, and greats. To know her was to love her and most likely be loved by her.  Until you weren't...  If you know, you know!  Our time on earth with her was cut way too short, so hold your loved ones tight, tell them that you love them often (too much is not enough), and live your life like there is no tomorrow.

Mary was preceded in passing, by her parents; son, Jacob Bradshaw; mother-in-law, Arlene Bradshaw; her uncle Michael Courtway; and unfortunately, so many others.

Among her survivors are her husband, Don Bradshaw; four children, Trish and her husband Ryan Eckelkamp, Mathew Bradshaw and wife Laura, Lucas Bradshaw, Samantha Bradshaw and her fiance, Skylar. Siblings; Debbie and Danny Bass, Petey and Timmy Bullock, Tammy and Peanut Beede, Lisa and Danny Gerling, Betty and Marty Berra, and Kenny and Michele Briggs. Thirteen grandchildren; Dedrea, Andrew, Brooklen, Adison, Nicolas, Destiny, Isaac, Sarina, Trenton, Leah, Sable, Ivy, and Chloe.  Two great-grandchildren; Kaizen and Mason; Sisters and brother-in-law; Debbie, Denise and Ronnie; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the KC Hall in Union, MO on March 7th, 2026, from 2-5pm.  All will be welcome!
