Marilyn Wynne Obituary

Marilyn P. Wynne, 72, of Washington, passed away on July 16, 2022. Marilyn, daughter of the late Robert Maune and Loretta nee Marquart, was born on February 26, 1950 in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On November 22, 1969, she was united in marriage to Dennis Wynne in Washington.

Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all who came in contact with her. She dedicated her life to her family and her faith – all with a smile and a shared laugh. She took great pride in her grandkids and loved attending all their events. Some of her favorite things to do were going on cruises with family, showing off her Christmas village, and watching football. Marilyn will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert “Moon” Maune and wife Roberta and Donald Maune.

Among her survivors are her husband, Dennis M. Wynne of Washington; three children, Dennis J. Wynne and wife Alona of Belton, TX, Robert Wynne and wife Britt of Kemah, TX, and Denise Kleekamp and husband Todd of Washington; siblings, Jerry Maune and wife Kathy of Washington and Rita Greisheimer and husband John of Washington; grandchildren, Hailey and Lauren Kleekamp and Arya and Scott Wynne; sister-in-laws, Donna Maune of Washington and Jeannette Phelan and husband Michael of Fenton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass will be on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Francis Borgia Regional High School or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
