Marianne Williams, 73, of Washington, passed away on August 21, 2024. Mrs. Williams, daughter of the late Kermit Roedemeier and Faye nee Eldredge, was born on August 12, 1951, in Neosho, MO. She received her education from Bourbon High School. She was united in marriage to Stephen Williams at the Lutheran Church in Bourbon on April 24th, 1971.
Marianne loved dancing to live music, wineries and attending classic car shows with her fiance. She enjoyed vacationing with her brother and going on float trips with her friends. She loved hiking with her grandkids and watching them play sports. Marianne was one of those individuals who never met a stranger. Perhaps it was her smile or the twinkle in her eyes that always drew people in and allowed her to leave a lasting impression. She will be missed and treasured by all.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Stephen Williams.
Among her survivors are her son, Ian Williams and wife Lacy of St. Clair; brother, Dr. Jahn Roedemeier of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Cannon Williams and Ruby Williams; sister-in-law, Lynn Huff of St. Clair; two brother-in-laws, Kevin Williams of Union, Joe Williams of St. Clair, and fiance, Steve Dobsch of Washington.
Celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements in care of Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
