Marian K. Roesner

Marian K. Roesner, 93 , of Marthasville, passed away on March 23, 2021. Mrs. Roesner, daughter of the late Anton Roehrig and his wife Anna NEE Mayer, was born April 4, 1927 in Warren County, MO. She received her education from St. Vincent’s School. On November 20, 1946, she was united in marriage to Ambrose Roesner at St. Vincent’s Church. Marian was a member of the St. Vincent’s Church in Dutzow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ambrose Roesner; Father and mother-in-law, Herman and Regina Roesner;  son, Kenneth Roesner Sr; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Roesner; two brothers, Anthony and Frederick Roehrig; sister, Rosemary Engemann and husband Herman; great-grandson, Truxton Hurst, and brother and sister-in-laws, Marie Mebruer and husband Nicholas, Raymond Roesner and wife Celia, and Gregory Roesner and wife Francis.

Among her survivors are her children, Geraldine Gildehaus and husband Charles of Washington, Larry Roesner of Union, Matthew Roesner of Augusta, Stanley Roesner and wife Mary of Marthasville, Daniel Roesner and wife Cindy of Washington, Frederick Roesner of Marthasville, and Roman Roesner and wife Dea of Augusta; siblings, Harold Roehrig and wife Lois of Augusta and Doris Weber and husband Melvin of Washington; sister-in-law, Arlene Roehrig of Dutzow; twenty one grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 3-8 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10 A.M. at St. Vincent’s Church in Dutzow, with interment in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent’s School or Masses.
