Marian I. Maune

Marian I. Maune, 93 , of Washington, passed away on December 7, 2020. Marian, daughter of the late Joseph Jasper and his wife Mary NEE Filla, was born November 16, 1927 in Washington. She received her education from St. Gertrude’s School. On June 15, 1949, she was united in marriage to Omer Maune at St. Francis Borgia Church. Marian was a member of St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Omer Maune; two sons, Eugene and Merrill Maune, and siblings, Joe Jasper, Victor Jasper, Ray Jasper, Marcellus Jasper, Margaret Bleckman, and Harold Jasper.

Among her survivors are five children, Keith Maune and wife Cheryl, Kurt Maune and wife Holly, Gerald Maune and wife Vicky, Judy Diener and husband Jim, all of Washington, and Patrick Maune and wife Kapka of Italy; brother, Othmar Jasper of Washington; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 11 A.M. at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church, with interment in the Church Cemetery. Memorials can be given to masses.
