Margaret R. Wilson

Margaret R. Wilson, 93 , of Washington, passed away on January 17, 2022. Margaret, daughter of the late James Watkins and Eliza nee Gish, was born on July 1, 1928 in Henderson, KY. She received her education from Barret Manual Training High School. On May 24, 1947, she was united in marriage to Floyd Wilson in Henderson, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Wilson and siblings, Richard Watkins and wife Florence, James Watkins and wife Thelma, Charles Watkins, Louis Watkins and wife Elsie, Herbert Watkins Jr. and wife Nellie, Mary Cheaney and husband Wallace, and Ethel Richardson and husband Yewell.

Among her survivors are four children, Connie Tallman and husband Gerald of Washington, Terri Morgan and husband Scott of Lake Sherwood, Joy Hernandez and husband Tim of Labadie, and Sam Wilson and wife Denise of Washington; brother, Hershel Watkins of Henderson, KY; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 12 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
