Lorraine A. Kleekamp,92, of Washington, passed away on June 14, 2025. Mrs. Kleekamp, daughter of the late Hermann Sieve and Alvina nee Hanneken, was born on June 19, 1932, in Villa Ridge. She received her education from St. John’s Gildehaus School. On October 11, 1952, she was united in marriage to Bob Kleekamp at the St. John’s Gildehaus Church.
Mrs. Kleekamp cherished moments spent with her loved ones, embracing the joy and comfort of family gatherings. Her talents shone brightly in her hobbies, as she skillfully quilted intricate patterns, crafted beautifully decorated cakes for special occasions, and dedicated countless hours volunteering at Cedarcrest Manor in Washington, bringing warmth and kindness to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Kleekamp; siblings, Hermann Sieve, George Sieve, Bill Sieve, Anna Koch, Leona Struckhoff, Marie Jane Lawrence, Elsie Siedhoff, and in-laws, Evelyn Sieve, Thecla Sieve, Earl Koch, Jiggs Brinker, Leonard Struckhoff, Charley Lawrence, Virgil Siedhoff, and Junior Leesmann.
Among her survivors are her children, Bob Kleekamp and wife Tina of Silex, MO, Steve Kleekamp and wife Sandy of Long Beach, MS, Jeff Kleekamp and wife Mary Jo of Defiance, MO, Mary Monroe and husband Tim of Krakow, and Alan Kleekamp of Washington; siblings, Alvina Leesmann of Marthasville and Theola Haslag and husband John of Krakow; twelve grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren, and loved ones and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the St. Francis Borgia Church. Interment will be in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, St. Francis Borgia Church, or Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.
