Logan J. Williams, 22, of Washington, passed away on February 15, 2025. Logan, son of Thomas J. Williams and Karen B. nee Pope, was born on November 14, 2002, in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Washington High School in 2021. Logan graduated from the Four Rivers Career Center Auto Tech Program in 2021. Logan was the first student to attend the apprentice program that was offered through Four Rivers and KJU, and Laborer's Apprenticeship Program. Logan graduated from the Construction Craft Laborer's Apprenticeship Program on February 6, 2025.
To know Logan was to love him. He had a one-of-a-kind smile that would brighten any room and melt warm the hearts of those lucky enough to see it and a laugh that was even better! Logan loved the outdoors, if he wasn't hunting, he was fishing. In the words of his sister and cousin "if someone caught one, Logan caught 10 to prove he was the best." He was a very special individual who had a gift of figuring things out. Whether it was his truck for the 100th time, helping his cousins or friends tinker with their rides, or rebuilding his great-grandfather's old tractor, he had a knack for getting any motor to run. He even kept hairspray in his truck, not for his hair, but to reattach his turbo boot to the intake. Logan attended the Four Rivers Career Center and helped rebuild four old tractors. In 2020, Logan was the only one who was not afraid of COVID and faithfully worked on a Farmall H and rebuilt it himself. Logan was so deeply loved and will be missed more than words can even say.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Rickie Victor Pope and William Ray Williams.
Among his survivors are his parents, Tom and Karen Williams of Washington; sister, Allysun M. Williams of Washington; grandmothers, Nancy Pope Johnson of St. Clair, MO and Carol Ann Williams of Washington, MO; aunts and uncles: Kayla and Trent Swiney of St. Clair, Kevin and Jessica Pope of Raymondville, MO, Steve and Ronda Williams of Treloar, MO, and Katie and John McNair of Waseca, MN; other relatives and many friends.
