Liz Garcilaso Obituary

Gertrude Elizabeth Garcilaso (Liz), 83 , of Marthasville, MO passed away on March 12, 2022. Mrs. Liz Garcilaso, daughter of the late Norville Todd and Grace Bain, was born on February 23, 1939 in Gunnison, CO. She received her education from Clarinda High School in Iowa. On March 4, 1961, she was united in marriage to George Garcilaso in Riverside, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three grandchildren, Jonathan Garcilaso, Jacob Garcilaso, and Addison O’Hanlon.

Among her survivors are her husband, George Garcilaso of Marthasville, MO; four children, Angela Nieder and Husband Tim of Kingwood, TX, Jim Garcilaso and Wife Jessica of Farmington, MO, Scott Garcilaso and Wife Cris of Marthasville, MO, and Amy O‘Hanlon and Husband Ryan of Washington, MO; two siblings, Jim Todd and Wife Wyna of Colorado Springs, CO and Joann O’Hare and Husband Charles of Bismarck, ND; Grandchildren, Cassandra Garcilaso, Daniel Garcilaso, Heather Byers, Jaiden Wilson, Zachary Garcilaso, Noah Garcilaso, Elijah Garcilaso, Shekinah Garcilaso, Adric O’Hanlon, Brody O’Hanlon, Easton O’Hanlon, and Savannah O’Hanlon; great-grandchildren, Cereys Garcilaso and Samson Garcilaso; Sister-In-Law, Monica Salazar of Denver, CO; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to Loving Hearts Outreach.
