Lisa C. Horn

Lisa C. Horn, 46, of Washington, passed away on Sept. 6, 2024. Ms. Horn, daughter of William Horn and Cheryl nee Shipley, was born on Feb. 5, 1978, in Creve Coeur at Mercy Hospital. She received her education from Washington High School and East Central College.

Lisa was lover of all animals, especially her beloved cocker spaniels – Doc, Maddie, and Jasper. Lisa enjoyed many outdoors activities, whether that was hiking with her dogs or fishing with her father and brother for catfish and crappie.  Lisa was committed to her community serving as both as firefighter and EMT for many years in Washington and New Haven.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Veronica Shipley and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Pauline Horn.

Among her survivors are two siblings, Nikki Jacquin and husband, Bobby, of Union and Dustin Horn and wife, Deirdre, of Washington; parents, William and Cheryl Horn of Washington; nephews, Noah and Miciah Jacquin; loved ones and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at the Life Stream Church in Washington. The interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Labadie, Mo.
