Lance V. Lamkin, 29 , of Washington, passed away on June 9, 2021 in a tragic car accident. Lance, son of Van W. Lamkin and Janice nee Christie, was born on July 14, 1991 in Blytheville, AR.
Lance was employed at West County Sprinkler in Valley Park. Lance had a passion for all things outdoors, particularly fishing. He had an immense love for his daughter Austen, family, and let’s not forget the Arkansas Razorbacks.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Jackson and his grandfather, Van G. Lamkin.
Among his survivors are his mother, Janice Hahne of Washington; father, Van W. Lamkin of Chidester, AR; daughter, Austen Lamkin of Washington; significant other, Katelyn Golab of Washington; six siblings, Jason Thompson and significant other, Jodi Kriete, Alana Bailey and significant other, Tony Ward, Courtney Turner and fiance Willy Irwin, Emma Turner and significant other, Jeremy Lombardo Bryce Hahne, and Brandon Hahne, all of Washington; grandmother, Shirley Smith of Camden, AR; grandfather, James Christie of Waldo, AR; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday June 13, 2021 from 4-8 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Wildey I.O.O.F Cemetery in Washington. Memorial donations can be made to the Austen Lamkin Education Fund/make checks payable to Janice Hahne or the Lance Lamkin GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses.
