Kimberly M. Dawson, 43, of Washington, passed away on November 13, 2023. Kim, daughter of Gregory Warren and Julia nee Rosemann, was born on November 20, 1979, in St. Louis. On July 31, 2004, she was united in marriage to Matthew Dawson at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.
Kim loved watching her childeren grow and seeing their perfomances in Band, Choir, various school plays and other events and activities. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and involved in many church activities. She enjoyed visiting and playing games with family and friends. Kim was a Kindergarten Aide at Immanuel Lutheran School and she treasured her time with all of her students, past and present.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Julius and Elizabeth Rosemann and Elmer and Dorothy Warren.
Among her survivors are her husband, Matthew Dawson of Washington; two children, Marcus and Andrew Dawson of Washington; parents, Gregory and Julia “Jill” Warren of New Haven; siblings, Christopher Warren and wife Casey of Washington and Tamara Broeker and husband Joshua of Washington; father and mother-in-law, David and Jean Dawson of Washington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Angela Grellner and husband Ronald of Washington and Jeffrey Dawson and wife Anne of Cedar Falls, IA; Godmother, Cynthia McMahan; nieces, nephews, other relatives, Immanuel Staff, current and former students, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Memorial donations can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School Tuition Assistance Fund.
