Kenneth P. LaCasse Sr.,86, of Washington, passed away on December 8, 2025. Mr. LaCasse, son of the late Louis LaCasse and Lena nee Conoyer, was born on February 26, 1939, in Centerville, MN. He received his education from Alexander Ramsey High School. On December 21, 2001, he was united in marriage to Rosemarie Gleich in Union.
Kenneth had a passion for painting landscapes and spent many hours appreciating birds. He took great pleasure in woodworking and practiced his skills as an electrician. Above all, he cherished his wife deeply and had a special affection for his beloved grandpuppy, Benji.
Mr. LaCasse worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 38 years in St. Paul, MN and retired from there.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Michelle K. LaCasse; siblings, Karen LaCasse, Michael LaCasse, and Stephen LaCasse and sister-in-law, Debbie LaCasse.
Among his survivors are his wife and best friend, Rosemarie LaCasse of Washington; children, Ken P. LaCasse Jr. and wife Amelia of Woodbury, MN and Jeannine Batchelder and husband Jason of Woodbury, MN; siblings, Louie LaCasse and wife Roseanne of Maplewood, MN, Mary Lombardi and husband Dave of Woodbury, MN, Patricia Stevenson and husband Brien of Scandia, MN, Susan Gangl and husband Dave of Little Canada, MN, Dennis LaCasse and wife Debbie of Andover, MN, and Beverly LaCasse of Mounds View, MN; grandchildren, Morgan, Kevin, and Spencer LaCasse and Matthew and Megan Leighton; sister-in-law, Annette “Annie” LaCasse of Mahtomedi, MN; step-father of Mark(Robin) Leighton of Forsyth, IL; loved ones and friends.
Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Louis Food Bank or the Audubon Society.
