Kathleen T. Buschmann

Kathleen T. Buschmann (nee’ Wilnau), was born on October 25, 1941 in St. Louis Missouri to Philip and Honorine (Torchy) Wilnau (nee’ LaPee). She passed away on Friday March 27, 2026 at home surrounded by family at the age of 84.

She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School (’59).  On January 2, 1965, was united in marriage to Ivan Buschmann at the St. Francis Borgia Church. She was a special education paraprofessional for the Washington School district for over twenty-five years. Volunteered with Meals on Wheels for over forty years. Traveled to thirty countries. Was known for her baking skills – especially her pies. Her most treasured and joyful moments were shared with her granddaughters, whom she spoiled and loved with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan Buschmann of Washington: daughter Bridget Buschmann of Washington and son Timothy Buschmann and wife Danielle of Washington: three granddaughters, Madaline, Molly & Macy Buschmann: two sisters:  Mary Janet Tyree of Bloomington MN and Francis Gail Kingsbury of Kansas City MO: along with ten nieces and nephews, and so many other cherished family members and friends.

Anatomical donation has taken place at St. Louis University School of Medicine.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 16, 2026
