Kathleen M. Beerman, 70, of Washington, passed away on October 31, 2025. Mrs. Beerman, daughter of the late James Burns and Patricia nee Trucano, was born on January 30, 1955, in South Bend, IN. She received her education at the Rapid City South Dakota High School. On February 16, 1980, she was united in marriage to Rick Beerman in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Kathleen was passionate about travel and particularly enjoyed going on cruises. She was a devoted supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. Above all, her family was her greatest priority, and their well-being was always most important to her. Kathy was a past member of the Washington Elks Lodge, past president of the Franklin County Board of Realtors, and was employed by Dolan Realtors for 28 years, managing several offices throughout her career.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeanette Burns and son-in-law, Larry Maurer.
Among her survivors are her husband, Rick Beerman of Washington; children, Jessica Maurer and significant other Michelle Marker of Washington, Richard Beerman and wife Laura of Washington, and Christopher Beerman and wife Stephanie of Carthage, MO; siblings, James Burns and wife Patricia of Wooster, OH, Daniel Burns and wife Robin Russell of Las Vegas, NV, and Anthony Burns and wife Boni of Box Elder, SD; grandchildren, Evan, Cecilia, Kinsley, Richard (JP), and Bailey; loved ones and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 4 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Beerman Family is having a Celebration of Life dinner at the KC Hall following the memorial service for anyone to attend.
