Katherine Graham Obituary

Katherine M. Graham, 104, of Washington, passed away on November 12, 2024. Mrs. Graham, daughter of the late James Post and Agnes nee Sax, was born on July 26, 1920, in Altus, AR. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On July 23, 1941, she was united in marriage to Edward Graham at St. Agnes Church in LaJolla, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Graham; son, Timothy Graham; three brothers, Eugene Post, Matthew Post, Thomas Post, and son-in-law, Scott Harris.

Among her survivors are eight children, Thomas Graham and wife Sandy of Biloxi, MS, Charlotte Vernaci and husband Joseph of Washington, Mark Graham and wife Audrey of Washington, Edward “Dennis” Graham and wife Theresa of Union, Mary Catherine Jones and husband William of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Graham and wife Cheryl of Jonesboro, AR, Patricia Harris of Roswell, GA, and James Graham and wife Mary Lee of Rolla; five siblings, Louise Ritter of New Orleans, LA, Theresa Shaw of San Antonio, TX, Dr. James Post of Fort Smith, AR, Antonia Plugge of Dallas, TX, and Estella Conatser of Ozark, AR; twenty seven grandchildren, forty seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4-6 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment will be in the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School.
