Judith A. Trentmann

Judith A. Trentmann, 82, of Washington, passed away on August 12, 2024. Mrs. Trentmann, daughter of the late Edwin Filla and Augusta nee Barlage, was born on September 5, 1941, in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On June 10, 1961, she was united in marriage to John Trentmann at St. Francis Borgia Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Among her survivors are her husband, John Trentmann of Washington; three children, Stephen Trentmann and wife Melanie of Washington, Kyle Trentmann and wife Tammy of Chamois, and Melissa Nilges and husband Tim of O’Fallon, MO; siblings, Paul Filla and wife Judy of Washington, Mary Beth Obermark and husband Jim of Washington, and Tom Filla of Washington; seven grandchildren, Jacob Trentmann and wife Sarah, David Trentmann and wife Ali, Ian Johnson, Isaac Trentmann, Dalton Nilges, Mikayla Nilges, and Olivia Nilges; one great-grandson, Henry Trentmann; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Memorial donations can be made to OLL School, VFW 2661, or American Legion 218.
