Joyce L. Ferguson, 89, of Washington, passed away on March 10, 2025. Mrs. Ferguson, daughter of the late August Quevreaux and Marjorie nee Mckee, was born on February 16, 1936, in St. Louis. She received her education from Webster Groves High School. On June 30, 1956, she was united in marriage to Holland “Duke” Ferguson in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Shelly Renee Ferguson.
Among her survivors are her husband, Holland “Duke” Ferguson of Washington; two sons, Scott Ferguson and wife Terry of House Springs and Bradley Ferguson of St. Louis; brother, Richard Quevreaux and wife Linda of Covington, LA; four grandchildren, Megan Stevens and husband Tyler, Jessica Ferguson, Hannah Ferguson, and Cameron Ferguson; three great-grandchidlren, Landon Vaughn, Sloane Stevens, and Lucille Stevens; loved ones and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 11-1 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Paul Churchyard in St. Louis. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
